I was asked the other day what had happened to my face. I was a little worried as, as far as I was aware, there was nothing to report, then it dawned on me. The sun was shining and I was smiling.
There is no doubt the old currant bun makes a huge difference. It seems from around September last year we have had just rain and gloom. The winter itself wasn’t particularly cold, with very few frosts, but it has rained and rained and rained and… you get the idea. The past week or so has been such a welcome change. Blue skies, warm sun and opportunities to finally get in the garden, proper.
