This time next week we’ll have a new Prime Minister.
Or will we? They say seven days is a long time in politics. It’s also a ridiculously long time to wait for your brand new Garden Furniture to be delivered. That’s why, at Whilton Locks Garden Village, we have stock available for you to take away on the day of purchase or we’ll deliver to you as soon as possible (sometimes on the same day if your constituency is local).
Our showroom is huge, with so many different styles to suit every taste. You can try before you buy and we’ll promise to price match like for like if, by any small chance, you can find our top quality Garden Furniture cheaper elsewhere.
The best seat right now is a comfy one. The best garden furniture display is at Whilton Locks. Voted the best Garden Centre in Northamptonshire!
This week also saw Junemas!
Junemas (June 25th) is the midway point of the year – exactly six months since last Christmas (don’t start me Whamming!!) and six months to this Christmas. How exciting.
Now, that news might not be everyone’s cup of eggnog, bah humbug we say however, some people like to be super organised and plan and prepare and wear festive jumpers.*
So to celebrate Junemas we have launched our online Ice Skating booking system – yay! Right now you can bag the best bookings – even on the most popular days, like the days right before Christmas. There’s no holding back dates – book any, to suit you and your family. There are savings for the early slots too with 50% off 18th through to 22nd November and 25% off our opening weekend (16th and 17th November) and 23rd and 24th November. Just think how fast the year has gone so far? Prime Ministers – and prime ticket slots! Book now here: https://www.whiltonlocksgardenvillage.com/product/ice-skating-at-whilton-locks/
Yes, Santa will return too. He is just on his ho-ho-holidays so we’ll tell you all about what he has planned, very soon.
What a display
Each year Whilton Locks Garden Village are really pleased to supply the plants and, in particular, the hanging baskets for the site at Heart of the Shires. These recent photos show how splendid they look.
Heart of the Shires is home to a number of lovely, independent retailers, set around a 150 year old courtyard. They are about a mile away from us. Head under the railway bridge, to the A5, turn left to the Weedon/Towcester direction and the site can be seen via signs on the left. It can also be a pleasant walk along the canal towpath.
Feel free to pop up this weekend and have a look, in addition to the current retailers, there are two events. The Rustic Design Shed are in the bandstand, offering reclaimed, restored, rustic and rather loveliness, both days and The Artizen welcome renowned artist Alison Johnson, to their studio, from 1pm Sunday.
See you soon
