Well Ding Dong Merrily on High, It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.
This weekend we welcome December and that means all the ‘too soon,’ bah humbugs really have to step into Christmas. We also welcome Santa baby to his grotto – Santa Claus is coming to town.
Last Christmas, I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus, but that’s another story. As I was saying, this Sunday here comes Santa Claus and boy has he travelled far: 2000 miles. Is very far**.
At Whilton Locks we are great festive fun for family and friends and I have even booked an ice skate for tomorrow. The gang include Mom (we’ll keep her away from Santa) my brother Dave, Noel, Coventry Carol, Sussex Carol, Smithy, Feliz, Navi, Dad, the three kings (William, Walter and good King Wenceslas) Holly and the Ivy, Mary and Mary’s boy child, Noel. One more sleep! The first Noel hasn’t been ice skating before, so we have hired a penguin*.
O Come All Ye Faithful
Our real ice, ice rink has been very popular already. So if you think baby it’s cold outside, don’t worry because our rink is completely undercover and there are hot drinks and snacks right by the rink with enough to feed the world.
It is great fun to have yourself a merry little Christmas. Jingle bells? Our Jingle bells rock. We have a huge display of decs with many three for two. Look out for Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Christmas lights and silver bells!
Dash can be found with his amazing Virtual Reality sleigh ride. Our top quality real Christmas trees are now in. You’ll find our friendly, helpful staff rockin’ around the Christmas tree area – on hand if you need help loading your car.
Our Canalside restaurant is offering fabulous festive food – for a holly, jolly Christmas.

No it isn’t the little drummer boy, it’s a fantastic festive weekend in the bleak mid-Winter, and we’d love to see you.
Santa (from Sunday), skating and snow much more, in fact, all I want for Christmas is you, well, to visit this weekend, we just don’t make of song and dance about it!
After all it’s the most wonderful time of the year.
