The fourth in a series to sell bedding plants (and other things) for Whilton Locks Garden Village!
Hello, welcome again to WLGVees Bedding Time story. It’s a series based on famous stories you may know, albeit we have changed them a little. Sadly, no Tom Hardy again this week (sorry ladies) as the holiday to Malta, seems to be more quarantine than holiday, so I’m doing this weeks story. I used to be in Holby City, or Casualty I can’t remember which and, neither can you.
This WLGVees Bedding Time story is called Little Red Riding Would.
Little Red Riding Would lived in a wood with her mother, just off the A5 in Northamptonshire. One day Little Red Riding Would went to visit Whilton Locks Garden Village.
On her way Little Red Riding Would met a wolf.
“Hello!” said the wolf. “Where are you going?”
“I’m going to Whilton Locks Garden Village. It’s the best garden centre for smiles.”
The wolf ran to Whilton Locks Garden Village. A little later, Little Red Riding Would reached Whilton Locks Garden Village. Little Red Riding Would looked around.
“Whilton Locks Garden Village, what fantastic bedding plants you have!”
“All the better to go in your garden!” said the wolf.
Little Red Riding Would would have saved some money. Wouldn’t she?
“Whilton Locks Garden Village, what incredible garden furniture you have!”
“All the better to go in your garden!” said the wolf.
Little Red Riding Would could have had home delivery. Couldn’t she?
“Whilton Locks Garden Village, what incredible hanging baskets you have!”
“All the better to go in your garden!” said the wolf.
Little Red Riding Would should have shopped at WLGV. Shouldn’t she?
“Whilton Locks Garden Village, what fantastic food you serve!”
“All the better with company.” sniffed the wolf. “To be honest, I haven’t really been out much over the past year or so – everything has been effected by Covid restrictions, even fairytales.” A tear ran down the wolf’s cheek.
Little Red Riding Would would do the right thing. Wouldn’t she?
“Would you like to have me for dinner?” Little Red Riding Would asked.
“Well… that was my plan,” said the wolf, rather bashfully. “But now I’ve heard the all day breakfast here is really good.”
“Yes, it is.” said Little Red Riding Would “Instead of eating me – how about Afternoon Tea?”
“That would be lovely.” said the wolf.
Little Red Riding Would agreed. “Yes it would.”
And they both coulda, shoulda, woulda lived happily ever after.
Goodnight.
