A special thanks to Mobility Your Way who have recently donated two wheelchairs for our guests who may require additional assistance whilst visiting our site.
There are two wheelchairs, located at our entrance, that are free to use, in different styles from The Escape range. The first design, the Transit, has smaller wheels and is ideal to be pushed by a family member or friend and the larger wheeled chair is perfect to be self propelled. Both are great to get around WLGV, safely.
Mobility Your Way are based in The Lock House, the brand new building on the left as you enter our driveway. The Lock House is their very latest showroom with existing locations including Market Harborough, Wokingham, Cambridge, Rugby, Peterborough, Kettering, Bury St Edmunds and Desborough. Mobility Your Way stock a wide range of mobility aids including mobility scooters and wheelchairs and is backed up with fantastic prices, expert knowledge and friendly service.
Both designs of wheelchairs, plus many others, are available to purchase from Mobility Your Way and come in a number of sizes and colours (ours are very apt being green), they are lightweight and easy to fold for transportation. Earlier this week we took one of our wheelchairs around our site to see the sights!
Who Needs a Cuddle?
Why not come to Whilton Locks Garden Village and meet the animals with one of our fabulously fun Cuddle Sessions? The next one is Saturday 19th October, followed by one more in October half term. It’s super fun for all ages – do you fancy a lovely lizard or something more cute and cuddly? There really is something for everyone.
It’s a fully hands-on, fun event – but it’s safe too!
Cuddle sessions cost £8.99 per Cuddler/Participant and £7.99 accompanying Adult/ Guardian. (Including refreshments)
Online booking is recommended, as spaces are very popular (and limited) to secure your place.

Bruno’s Pet Shop News
Our time is very nearly up at Billing Garden Village and we are relocating, so…
Bruno’s Pet Shop at Billing Garden Village, massive relocation sale. Now on.
All stock is being sold at amazingly silly prices – up to 70%. Crates, beds, toys, collars, bird cages, small animal runs, dog waterproof coats (very useful right now), animal carriers and lots and lots and lots more. Our neighbours at Billing Garden Centre (which many visitors walked through to get to Bruno’s) is pretty empty, as they are leaving too, but Brunos IS open. The last day will be THIS Sunday – 13th October at Billing Garden Village.
Bruno’s will continue at Whilton Locks Garden Village – and Quincey, Bruno’s super friendly Macaw is relocating to WLGV too very soon. Come and say ‘hello’ to her (she may even say ‘hello’ back!)
